The Healing Process (LevixReader)

“Are you sure it’s okay to let Captain Levi take _____ away? What if he does something to her? Will she be alright?” Christa asked as she wrapped her injured arm.

“Cut the crap, Christa. She’ll be alright, it’s impossible for Captain to do something bad to _____,” Sasha pouted. She was eating a bun which had been stolen from the kitchen.

“She’s right, I agree with Sasha,” said Armin while he helped Christa with her bandage.

After a while, the three of them heard footsteps behind them so they turned their backs to see who it was; it was Eren, Mikasa and Jean.

“Having a chit chat huh?” Jean interfered.

“It’s not like that Jean, we were talking about _____,” Armin explained. Then, he took three chairs for his friends who just came.

“_____?” Mikasa and Eren said at the same time.

“Yes, about ten minutes ago, Captain Levi voluntarily wanted to help on cleaning her wounds since she passed out so he brought _____ away. We don’t know where they are right now,” Armin continued his explanation.

“Oh, that’s fine. We all know he’s a clean freak,” Jean yawned, he felt so sleepy after his battle against the titans.

Everyone was quiet until Eren raised up his hands that could make all of his friends’ eyes focused on him. “But, don’t you think that Captain likes _____?”

“Yes! I think the same too! Oh, I can see right through Captain’s eyes that he likes her,” Sasha admitted cheerfully and still held her favorite bun.

“Ahh, when will you guys sleep? Let’s just stop this conversation and sleep,” Jean yelled and walked away toward his room. “Man, those titans were troublesome. If they don’t attack us out of the blue, _____ won’t be like this.”

You were scared, tears streamed down to your cheeks. The place was surrounded by darkness so you could not tell where you were right now. You tried to move your limbs many times but your actions failed. It must be a dream, how could you not feel any pain when you tried to move? Even though the unknown place peaked your curiosity, you kind of liked its warmth and peaceful atmosphere, as if you had been embraced and protected by your loved one. Ah, if I have a chance to come here again, I would like to bring someone so I will not be alone.

To make your sweet dream came true was impossible after all.

You opened your eyes and took a glimpse at the ceiling and wall in your bedroom; so you felt asleep just then. Soon your view continued to travel the whole part of your room; it was really tidy and clean, the furniture arranged neatly, the blanket smelt nice too. Wait, you realized that you were not that so-called-neat-person, so it was definitely not your room. Then where the hell are you? What happened when you were sleeping?

“So you woke up,” as you heard a man’s voice came from the edge of the bed, you promptly moved your head to face him. Apparently, he was your captain, Levi; seeing him was enough to get your eyes wider than normal. He drank his tea calmly while he sat on the bedside, waiting for your answer.

“Sir?” you asked, blinking your eyes few times just to make sure you did not see the wrong person.

“What?”

Many questions swarmed inside your head until you kept silence and pondered for a while. You just had to ask him all the questions if you desperately wanted it; only if he was in a good mood today. Slowly, you tried to sit for a better position but you felt a pain in your left arm so you could not make it. You were badly wounded; you touched your bleeding head, arm and waist which were bandaged tightly.

“Tch, don’t push yourself idiot,” he growled and continued his words; “You should get some rest if you don’t want to die.”

Feeling scared of your captain’s glare, you decided to recline back.

“Sir, what actually happened before I slept? The only thing I remember is we were fighting a group of titans,” you asked while your right hand rubbed your left, injured arm.

Your memories blurred after you and your friends fought numerous titans outside the wall. There was a moment you could vividly recall when you got your 3dmg broken, so one of the titans took its chance to attack you.

Levi placed his empty cup onto a table beside the bed. He stood still, letting his grey eyes meet yours. “You fainted after that bastard hit you.”

So that was how it went. You trailed your eyes again to look over the room. “Umm, excuse me sir, whose room is this?” you asked in a lower voice.

“Mine,” he replied in monotone and a frown, showing that he was getting annoyed with your questions.

There were plenty more questions to ask about, but you stayed silent; asking him another question might mean your death. You knew your captain’s hot-headed manner so well since you enlisted in his group. You knew both things that he liked and disliked; in fact, you were in love with him. That was why you had a crush on him even though you were scared of him more than a titan. Sleeping in Captain Levi’s room? More like sleeping in a heaven by you.

You ignored his gaze just to make sure that you did not receive a single blush on your cheek.

“It’s still night. You should go back to sleep or else your wounds won’t heal,” he stated while folding his arms.

“Bu-but, I can’t. I don’t feel sleepy,” you grasped the bedclothes firmly in your hands. You did not want to sleep, you did not want to go into that dreadful dream alone again; not when Levi was staring at you like a predator.

“Oi, don’t tell me you’re going to cry for a second time,” he sighed. “You cried when you were sleeping before you woke up.”

“What? Seriously?” you took your finger and wiped your cheeks but the tears already dried. So your tears in your dream had brought itself to reality.

“Well, there’s no other choice,” he reminded you that you had to sleep without an excuse. Then, he crawled onto the bed and lay himself beside you. He also swiftly took the blanket away from you, which caused you to shiver when the cold air hit your skin.

“What are you do-“ your words were cut down soon after he pulled you closer to his chest; so close that you could hear his heartbeat.

Only god knew how your hands were shaking in embarrassment and how your heart was pounding heavily until it could explode anytime. You were lucky enough that your face had been hidden so he could not watch as your cheeks blushed.

“I’ve told you. If you want your wounds heal, go get some rest. But if you don’t, your wounds will be getting worse and you’ll die,” He exclaimed, while patted your back a bit harshly.

“Sir?”

“Stop calling me that. My name is Levi, not sir,”

“Okay sir, I mean, Levi. Why did you save me?” you asked.

“That’s a dumbest question I’ve ever heard. Of course I don’t want to lose you idiot,” he replied and his hand still patted your back. “Now sleep, If you die, I won’t forgive you.”

A wide smile ran across your face when he showed that he cared for you; his words meant a lot to you, you were so happy to hear his voice so close. When your wounds already healed, you promised yourself that you would jump in excitement in your own room.

“Levi?”

“What again?”

“I know this last question sounds weird but, did you ummm well you know.. did you do something to me while I was asleep? You know, nevermind. Just forget that question,”

“You mean did I molest you when you passed out?” when you lifted your head to face him, you could see that he smirked. “Well, I will only do it when you beg for it.”

“O-o-okay goodnight Levi,” you quickly spun around to the other side so you could not see his face, hoping that you could end the night tranquilly. You could not do anything else than whispering to yourself; “Oh god, please protect me.”
